UPTET & Teacher Recruitment Exam Dates Announced: Full Schedule for 2026
The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has officially announced the exam dates for UPTET 2026 and major teacher recruitment examinations, bringing long-awaited clarity for teaching aspirants across the state. The updated calendar includes Assistant Professor, PGT, TGT, and UPTET exams, all scheduled in a phased manner.
Key Exam Dates Announced
• Assistant Professor Recruitment Exam will be conducted on 18 April and 19 April 2026.
This exam was pending for a long time and has now been officially rescheduled.
• Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Exam is scheduled for 09 May and 10 May 2026.
Candidates applying for PGT posts should align their final revision plans accordingly.
• Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Exam will be held on 03 June and 04 June 2026.
This recruitment covers multiple subjects and is one of the most awaited exams.
• UPTET 2026 (Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) will be conducted over three days — 02 July, 03 July, and 04 July 2026.
UPTET is mandatory for eligibility in future government teacher recruitments in Uttar Pradesh.

Admit cards for each examination will be released separately on the official UPESSC or concerned department websites a few weeks before the exam dates.
