Sony Xperia Miro - Review- Features & Specification

Introduction.
Sony Xperia series phones have made a mark as reliable and sturdy devices. Sony XperiaMiro is the latest offering from this famous brand, and it is a phone that promises to deliver a lot going by the features it offers. The device runs on the trusted android version 4 also called the ice cream sandwich OS.  A powerful 800 MHz processor is an excellent back up of the operating system, and the 512MB Ram promises a flawless functioning of the numerous applications that can be performed on the device.
Sony Xperia Miro- Review
Hardware.
The hand set has distinctive visual features such as the sloping metallic plate under the row of capacitive keys on the front. Moreover, the phone comes in a wide range of color combinations, including a snowy- white version. Despite being made of a boring plastic, the petite sizedXperia, feels light and well built making it possible for one to operate with a single thumb. Accidental presses are minimized since the three capacitive buttons under the screen are well spaced.
However, the 2-button volume rocker located on the right side and the lock key positioned on top are somehow tiny, and this proves to be a discomfort.
The phone boasts a nice and a handy feature in the name of a discreet RGB LED right next to the earpiece. It glows in a respective color each time you have a missed call, a face book message or simply when operating under low battery.
Screen.
It has a 3.5-inch displayTFT capacitive touch screen which provides a resolution of 320 by 480 pixels. However, graphics do not look good on it as it has a 165ppi. The screens color presentation and viewing angles are okay but, unfortunately, it does not have a light sensor. This means that one has to boost the brightness manually.
The phone comes with another excellent feature called the power saver which switches off a number of features when enabled. It also reduces the screen’s brightness to preserve more energy.
The phone uses the Times cape UI which is an interface that focuses heavily on the social networking while making the interaction that is between the user and the smart phone simple and easy.Standard connectivity features such as GPS, Bluetooth, WI-Fi and a 3G of upto 7.2 mbps are supported by the XperiaMiro. It also has a micro USB port where one can connect the device to a computer.
Camera.
The phone also comes with a 5 megapixel camera that also acts as a video recorder. The camera comes with additional features like touch capture, Geo tagging, auto focus, and video stabilizer which all contribute to enhance the usability of the device. A secondary camera of 0.3 megapixels allows users to conduct video calling easily.
Conclusion.
With a better screen and a lower price tag, the device will surely carve a niche in the market, a fact supported by its impressive battery life and good media options. This makes the phone a worthy buy.

SONY ERICSSON XPERIA ARC S - REVIEW & FEATURES

The 3D Panorama Feature: A Distinguishing Feature in Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S
Sony Ericsson xperia Arc SAnother charismatic member of the Sony Ericsson family is the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S. But just taking the newest flagship releases and including some technological nips, is what the phone companies use to do to attract the public’s attention. The eye catching aspects and features of the other latest products are taken and given a modified and suited name to gain the most preference. Xperia Arc S has some of the same features as of its forerunner. It also experienced the same refreshing release with a bit change in hardware. The Xperia Arc S has an additional Sony’s 3D panorama feature which runs to produce 3D stills for the purpose of consumption in TV. You might notice some other difference too as we proceed. Let’s have an observation of Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S features.
Xperia Arc’s Hardware and Screen
The power button, on the top perimeter has the micro-HDMI port next to it. There is a 4.2-inch screen and at peak is an over-sized bezel which can make the fingers overstretched while pressing the petite button again and again.
The 4.2-inch screen shows that it is a fearsome mechanism. Even with its LCD roots, Sony's Mobile Bravia Engine demonstrates excellent functioning on the 854 x 480 display and it presents even minor detail as well as prosperous coloration. Unfortunately, a slight tilt shows the downsides of the screen display. However, such a wide screen enables you to play games, text and use keyboard and also keep up the internet browsing.
Camera Functioning
There is 8 mega pixel camera which has a good and acknowledgeable result. For the pictures to be taken cleanly and getting the good performance of the camera, the mode of automatic scene recognition should be switched off. You can have the choice between multi point focus touch and the touch to focus.  There are a number of preset scene choices in Arc S. As far as video recording is concerned, the 720p video capturing can be capacitated in Arc S.
Software Operating System in Xperia Arc S
As with the previous version of Xperia Arc S, the Android Gingerbread has been applied in this set as well. Conveniently, Tweeter and Face book updates can be loaded.
In Xperia Arc S, the camera produces the 3D effect by letting itself double and 3D capable screen is to be adjusted in that case. In this type of Android phones, the set starts stuttering as the pictures scroll crosswise the screen. The details also get blurred in 3D capable screen.
Xperia Arc’s Call Quality and Energy Life
The Sony Ericsson Arc s has a battery of 1500mAh and if we compare to the previous original arc, it was equal. The cal quality of Xperia Arc S is fantastic with no ambient sound during a call.
Wrapping up
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S has a signified set of features which are admirable and if you compare it with the previous Xperia Arc, the 3D Panorama Sweep can be thought of as distinguishing and practical features.

SONY ERICSSON'S Xperia Arc - A SMART ANDROID PHONE

The Xperia Arc is Sony Ericsson's current flagship Android phone and it is proving to be quite popular due to its unique curved design and status as one of the world's thinnest smartphones. Sony Ericsson has just recently announced a new Arc to join its Xperia line-up: the Xperia Arc S. This is not a sequel to the original Arc though, as it offers a few tweaks but retains most of the original hardware design and software. Because of this Xperia Arc S deals should hopefully fall within the same price range as contracts for the original.
sony ericsson xperia arc

The only major difference to the new Arc is that its processor has been increased from 1GHz to 1.5GHz, which is presumably why the updated phone has the "S" suffix (S being the preferred indication for "speed"). The original Arc was a pretty speedy device in itself, despite being slow to load up and occasionally suffering a bit of lag with its Timescape social networking widget (which can be removed). Those looking for a dual core Xperia won't find it here; this will probably be reserved for the inevitable Xperia Arc 2 at the start of next year.

The Arc S also has a slightly updated version of Android Gingerbread, which should mean that this software update will be available to owners of the original Arc at some point too. Aside from that, the Xperia Arc S retains exactly the same physical proportions as the original Arc, and comes with the same 4.2 inch LED backlit LCD screen that made the first Arc such an enjoyable phone to use for video watching and web browsing.

The 8 megapixel camera still remains pretty much the same too. It is still an excellent camera, but now comes with support for Sony's 3D sweep panorama that has been imported from its line of digital cameras. This allows you to take panoramic photos as well as stereoscopic images. Other features, such as the LED flash, touch focus, 720p video and various image effects were found on the original Arc as well.

Like most Sony Ericsson smartphones recently on release, the Xperia Arc uses Sony's Mobile BRAVIA Engine which is used to enhance picture and video quality by removing imperfections. The phone comes with the same 320MB storage space with optional 32GB microSD, access to Android Market and support for YouTube as the original phone.

When the Xperia Arc S first cropped up in public many people got a little excited at the prospect of a new Xperia handset. On closer inspection though, the Arc S is not a whole lot different from the original. The increased processing power will certainly make a noticeable difference and the 3D sweep panorama feature provides the Arc S with a more enjoyable camera. If you had your eyes on the Xperia Arc then the Arc S will certainly be a better option to go for. But if you already own the original Arc it is probably not worthwhile rushing out to compare mobile phone deals for the Arc S and should probably just wait for a full upgrade with the Xperia Arc 2.
