AIRTEL TO LAUNCH 4G SERVICES IN INDIA THIS MONTH (APRIL)

So after 3G services , its time to enjoy 4G speed. 4G network allows you to access internet with speed of 100 mbps as compared to 21 Mbps of 3G network.Bharti Airtel will offer 4G network , First in  Kolkata circle . 


Airtel had bagged 4G licence in Four Telecom circle - Mumbai, Kolkata , Punjab and Karnatka . Airtel had paid Rs 3,314.36 crore for spectrum licence. So we can,t say 4G services will be cheap even 3G services are too expensive for  middle class person so they are still bind to 2G network for data access.


Airtel selected ZTE Corporation to manage its 4G network in Kolkata circle. ZTE will plan, design, supply and deploy 4G network in kolkata , which will allow kolkata users to enjoy high speed data services. Airtel has already given contract to NSN to provide 4G services in Maharashtra circle.


Other Operators who win 4G LTE  licence and spectrum are Reliance infotel (22 circle) , Aircel (8 circle) , BSNL (20 circle) , Tikona (5 circle) , Qualcomm (4 circle) , MTNL (2 circle) and Augere (1 circle) , All other operators will soon roll out 4G services in India.


The launch of 4G services in India will provide ultra high speed data access, driving fundamental change in society at large.
