AIRTEL WILL SHIFT TO SES7 AT 108.2 E SOON...
Airtel testing services on ses7 satellite for its dth service (Airtel digital Tv). Presently Adtv providing services from insat 4cr, adtv has 7 transponders on insat 4cr.it having limited space on insat 4cr, so not able to add more channels and services. ADTV already stops its interactive services.

Presently airtel testing channels on 3 transponders of Ses7
These frequency transponders are
11480 V 28800
11521 V 28800
11600 H 28800
But from different reports it reveal that airtel has 9 transponders on ses7, so they can add more channels and services.
Now airtel using ses7 for their bus service, but it is sure they are not going to carry both satellite for their services.
so we can believe soon adtv subscriber will receive services from new satellite with updated quality and more number of channels and services.
Definitely it is not a one day process, subscribers of ADTV need to re align their dish towards ses7 at 108.2 E . it will take time.
some reports also reveal that some subscribers STB is updated with ses7 detail.
one of the good thing with ses7 is that it covers south Asia,so good news for middle east viewers, Adtv will be able to provide services out of India as well.
Though there is not any official announcement from airtel so far.
