TRICK TO GET FTA CHANNELS IN AIRTEL DIGITAL TV

Hello Guys, Airtel Digital Tv is providing services using SES7 satellite, which is co- located with NSS11. Now you can get free to air channels from NSS11 china beam. Though signal strength is very low, but in some parts of India we can have good signal strength.To get FTA channels ,you just need to scan Free to Air channels option in your ADTV set top box.

Here is detail of transponders, which you need to scan for free channels from NSS 11 china beam.

12531 vertical 26667
12581 vertical 13330 

How to Scan your Set Top Box :

Follow some simple steps to Scan ADTV STB

Open menu

Settings
System setup
Free to air channels
Find channels

  

Satellite: Choose Other
Search mode: FTA+CAS
Transponder: USER

Modulation type: DVB-S2-QPSK
Frequency:12611
Polarization : VERTICAL
Symbol rate:26667
FEC: 2/3(or any)

you might not get option of 'Other' in Satellite section, To get Other in Satellite Follow these steps 

• take the cable out of the set top box, without powering -off the box. 

• press the 'menu' button,  go to 'installation setup>>lnb settings' 

•  assign the 'OTHER' satellite to 'disec B' switch, 

• store the settings 

• insert back the cable once again into the set top box 

• go to menu, you ll find the option of 'OTHER' satellite, now scan according to details given above

SCAN TRANSPONDERS OF AIRTEL DIGITAL TV FROM YOUR ADTV STB

Now you can use your ADTV STB to scan the transponders and get the list of channels added on these transponders.

You don't need any FTA receiver, you can check these channels on your airtel stb,....just follow these simple steps

Open menu

My settings
System setup
Free to air channels
Find channels
Choose satellite: SES7 or any
Search mode: FTA+CAS
Transponder:USER
Frequency:11480
Polarization : VERTICAL
Symbol rate:28800
FEC: 2/3(or any)

Fill these details and press blue button for search, there u saw a list of channels on this transponder.

You can follow these steps for any transponder detail of airtel. other transponder detail is given below

make changes only for given, other fill will remain same

frequency: 11483
pol. : horizontal
symbol rate: 26600

frequency: 11520
pol. :horizontal and vertical(check both)
symbol rate: 30000

frequency: 11560
pol. : horizontal and vertical (check both)
symbol rate: 30000

Don,t forget to select user as a transponder and search mode FTA+CAS. If you save scanned channels then these channel will be available after channel no. 700 or channel no. 1500

You might face problem of "no information available" try 1 or 2 times

you will definitely get list of channels
